Bios Update

I bought an x570 Mobo in preparation (that doesn't have a bios flash button) for the upcoming Zen 3 CPUs. Just as x470 Mobos needed a bios update for Zen 2 I assume x570 will need one for Zen 3. Does/can the Microcenter bios flash service offer bios updates without a cpu from the customer?

Yes,  we can perform BIOS updates at our service desk. It's $29.99, can usually be done same day assuming we're not too busy.

So to be clear, when the new Zen 3 processors come out I can bring my (cpu-less) x570 motherboard to have it's bios updated to so that it can function with the new CPUs correct?

Correct, we can bios update the X570 Motherboard to a bios version that supports Zen 3.  Just make sure that there is a bios for the motherboard that does support Zen3 before bringing it in, since we do need a bios to update to.

I'm running into the same issue. I just got a new motherboard and a new CPU and no way for it to work, because the bios is out of date on it. However, micro center wants me to pay for them to update it. I will just return everything. Seems like me returning a whole build would be more than just waving the $29.99 fee but I guess not.
