PowerSpec G358 HDMI Input not working

I purchased a PowerSpec G358 desktop. The PC is great but I am unable to get it to recognize my video camera when I connect it via HDMI cables. I am unable to import my videos for editing. The HDMI connection works fine when I connect it to my HD tv. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The display ports that are on the video card/motherboard are outputs, not inputs. Normally if you're trying to input or capture video from an external source like a camera, you need to feed it in via a capture card or directly with a USB cable. What kind of camera do you have?
