How do i check on my P.C. what video card i need

That would depend on what you're using it for, presumably gaming. You want something that pairs with your system well, and isn't bottlenecked by your CPU. What are your current specs and what's your budget?

You need to give us specs. You haven't told us anything. For all we know you can be running windows 7 home storw bought HP pavilion. Honestly your best bet is to speak with someone at microcenter because it doesn't sound like you are a builder. We are happy to help but any builder would know to include the most basic of specs from dxdiag or hwinfo report
