Updated Graphics Card

Hi,
I am looking for some help trying to upgrade my graphics card. I currently have a Radeon R7 450 in my Dell Optiplex 7050. I am not sure how to determine which other GPU's are compatible with my computer but figured this would be the place to start.
Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Hello @Stove
Do you know which version of the Dell Optiplex 7050 you have? I am seeing a few different ones of differing sizes, which can restrict which GPU you can use.

Hi @TSPhillipT
I believe it is the smaller/skinnier tower but not the micro. Let me know if there's any other information you need! Thank you! -
Hello @Stove
Based on this page; https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/desktops-workstations/optiplex-7050-tower-small-form-factor/spd/optiplex-7050-desktop, is it the Tower or is it the Small Form Factor? -
@TSPhillipT It is the tower.

Looks like you can get a full sized card that doesn't use supplementary power. My recommendation would be looking at an Nvidia 1030 or a 1050 Ti. Keep in mind, when looking up your system, it looks to have a 240W Power Supply and I am unsure what Power Supply upgrade options exist as this may be a Dell Proprietary Power Supply. -
That was the limitation before when I tried getting a GTX1660 Super. Apparently Dell doesn't do power supply upgrades. I will take a look into those options. Thank you!

@TSPhillipT Both of those cards have a 300W power supply recommended and like you mentioned I have a 240W power supply. I'm assuming that I shouldn't get these then? If not, any other recommendations? Thank you!

Hello @Stove
Looking at your current Radeon R7 450, it has a recommended 250-350W Power Supply on it when I was looking around on the internet. The 1030 takes less power than your Radeon R7 450 and the 1050Ti taking up slightly more.
