4k monitor vs 2560x1440
in Peripherals
I would like to know if a 4K monitor will run equally well as a 2560 x 1440 display. My video card will run the 2560 x 1440 as is, but will struggle with true 4K

That really depends on your system specs. Specifically, your CPU and GPU are the largest contributing factors. 4K will definitely demand more of your GPU. What GPU do you have? Here's an example of a 2080 Super with an i9-9900k comparing 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p.
