So I just bought a powerspec laptop, and I was looking to install an SSD into the laptop, since the original hard drive is lacking.
i saw a teardown of the laptop and theres a tray for a 2.5" drive.
if i were to install a new SSD into that tray, and not change the NVME drive, would that void the warranty?

    Hello @Hiham

I have moved your thread to a section that is more relevant.

No, adding a SSD will not void the warranty for the machine however the SSD is not covered by the PowerSpec warranty.

So for sure, it will not void any warranties? like if the motherboard dies sometime after i install a hard drive, my hard drive wouldn't be blamed for the fault of the motherboard? or I wouldn't be able to use my warranty for repairs due to my hard drive?

If the drive causes damage to the system, then that won't be covered.  Like if the drive exploded or shorted out the motherboard, then those would not be covered by the warranty.
