No Wifi??

I just bought a Dell dektop for $644 and it does not have wifi.  How is this even possible?  Do I need to buy an adapter?  Thanks

    Greetings @ajferrara

Depends on the model mainly. If it's a consumer model like an Inspirion, I'd expect wireless. If it's a business model like an Optiplex, then I wouldn't. Business desktops rarely include WIFI, it's not desirable for their clients. You can buy a USB adapter to add this functionality or your system, or an internal PCIe adapter.
