Need Help Choosing Parts

I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=bf3e4a31-faee-48ba-a2db-c4f68e3d04e4
I cut it down as much as i could, but still ending up around 1200. Is this about right for a mid to high-mid tier pc? is there something i should or could downgrade and still remain mid tier or does the OS, build service, and monitor usually get left out of the equation and this is the "real" price for a gaming pc? most websites said that 800-1000 was mid tier and 1200 is high-mid tier must have been only talking about parts...

  • Hello @Jeremiah

Tiers are all subjective with no actual rulings on what defines the tiers in general.  In my eyes, this is a mid tier PC that should be able to handle most 1080p games that are thrown at it.

I see no issues with the build and upgradability is pretty big for when you are planning to upgrade the build for better resolutions.
