My sons been wanting a PC for a starter gaming setup. Would this run a game like fortnite and call of duty at ok settings without an added graphics card? Debating if a custom build like this is better or an old i5 with a graphics card thats about $150 into an $80 system used. Thanks!

Actually, both are good options here. In Fortnite the 3400G gets around 60 FPS on medium graphics settings at 1080p. You'll get a fairly similar result if you were to purchase a low-end discrete GPU. For COD Warzone, the 3400G gets around 50 FPS on low settings at 1080p. Joe has a great idea herein, because you can use the 3400G until you decide you're ready to upgrade.
