Need Help Choosing Parts

Hello, I am extreme novice and am looking for guidance with what seems to me to be the overwhelming task of picking parts for my first pc build for gaming. I am not sure exactly what I'm doing, just trying to find parts that work together and will keep to a $900ish budget. Any advice helps, thanks!
I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=2d55cd3a-81cc-4fc8-91c0-810eccbf0c67

  • Hello @orangeline

Thank you for posting on the community!  What kind of games are you looking to play and at what resolution?  Everything so far looks good for 1080p gaming and the one thing I would change is switching out the CPU Cooler as your processor will come with it's own CPU Cooler.  Your motherboard may also need a BIOS update possibly, though if it has a "Ryzen 3000 Ready" sticker on it, then you should be good.
