Pixel

PC has been crashing unexpectedly and blue screen several times since I purchased in August. I ran the Win10 memory test today, which reports hardware problem and states to contact manufacturer. How do I proceed?

Hello @Pixel Please expect an email from me regarding this concern.

Hi @LandShark --- I recently (in Nov) purchased a G358 and am experiencing issues. Freeze & crash after about 30-45 minutes (sometimes right away too) whenever gpu engaged. Please help.

@bladt
Does this happen only when you are gaming or does it occur randomly? The first step would be to follow our guide to clean install the graphics card drivers using DDU. Are you able to monitor your usage to see what it is just before it crashes?
If you are just looking to file a warranty claim and have us repair it, then just let us know. We can create a ticket for you. -
Thanks for the response @TS_JosephF. Freezing occurs primarily during gaming (most recently during Civ 6), but also occur about ~33% of the time when I run UserBenchMark. For the later, the freezing almost always happens during the gpu portion, typically at the sphere or galaxy. I've gone through the the DDU instruction twice now. The first time reinstalling most recent drivers. This did not resolve the problem. Then again, going back to 19.12.1 (hoping this would be stable). No luck. I also updated power setting to 'high performance' and installed all updates for Windows. Freezing still occurs frequently, both in attempts to game and while using UserBenchMark. Please advice what the best course of action is.

@bladt Thank you for your update. To review this further, have you taken the system through any overclocks or would you be running both the CPU and GPU at stock settings that came with the system? Also if you are close to a store location and are within the warranty period, you may bring this in store for a diagnostic under warranty with no appointments required. If you would like to avoid waiting to speak with service once in store, you can set up an appointment at the following link.

Thatnks @TS_BryantA. Nope, have not done any overclocking. Both CPU and GPU at stock settings. I'm close to a store and purchased ~35 days ago.
