Installing hdd to G228

I have an old hdd from my old desktop and I’m trying to install it to the G228. The problem is I can’t find where I can plug the sata cable on the psu. There is a side where the psu shroud is covering a side of the psu. Is it on that side and if so how can I take it off the psu shroud? Is it even possible to install a hdd to this build?

Hi @GoGurt! The G228 does have a shroud over the bottom third of the case, you'll need to take off the side panel opposite of the glass side panel. This should allow you to view the PSU and wires that are on the back of the case.

Sorry for the late reply, but the screws next to the psu are not there. I can send a picture if you like. @LandShark

The G228 does use a different, yet very similar case. If you could send images of the step that you're having trouble with, I'd be happy to walk you through to the best of my ability! 😊

Oh I found the cables was able to install my hdd fine. Thank you for the help!
