Will microcenter allow customers to buy ps5 in store on release day? from what I understand sony is not allowing in store purchases of the console? can you walk me through the best way to get one? Do I have to log in to the site at 12am and order it online for in store pick up and it will be available same day? Im currently trying to avoid the mad rush of major stores and find the best way to get the console before they sell out

I believe we intend to have them, but stock will likely be very limited.

A few questions related to this.  First, will there be a queue/line forming outside the store prior to store opening?  Second, will it be one PS5 per customer or a free-for-all?  Just want to confirm this before I take off of work to stand in line and assess what time I need to get there to have the best chance of getting one before they sell out.  Thanks!

There will most likely be a line forming before the store opens, yes. It will be limit one per customer. From what I hear, the stock will be limited. Best of luck to you in getting one!

I've just been informed that we are not expecting to have any PS5's in-store on launch day. I'm working to find out why, but I wanted to share it with you as soon as I learned this. @Derwin @CMerk @UtorkaFam

We don't have a notification system set in place. However, our website is a live inventory that updates every 15 minutes. If we have the item, it'll be updated there! This would exclude "Limited Availability" items, which are typically out of stock within minutes of our getting stock.
