Gaming Build for my Son, with Liquid Cooling and Lights. Any comments?
I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. Will be for my Son's first build. Want it to look cool and serve as a gaming machine. Am I missing anything?

honestly that is quite a good build for your son for like gaming but i would say you will most indefinitely want an hdd because honestly a 1tb m.2 is good but not exactly enough looking forward for sizes of games. almost a minium each game requires 50 gb of storage. and idk if i would keep the optical drive. here's how i would have it : https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-amd.aspx?load=20360177-7479-4efe-8d56-fdd2ba33c705
also you must be an insanely nice parent. props to you -
So I definitely think there's ways to extra more value out of your budget. It ultimately comes down to preference and there's nothing wrong with your build, but we could change some parts around to save money on areas like your RAM and case and free up some more to upgrade your GPU, for example.
We can drop down to 16GB of RAM, as that's plenty if this is primarily a gaming a machine. We can also go with a less expensive case like the Lancool II Mesh RGB, you still get some of that RGB mixed in but save a chunk of change. Along with that, unless you really want to overclock I'd recommend the normal Ryzen 5 3600 instead of the XT, and going with a more modest cooler as a 240mm AIO isn't required.
So something like this:

I tried to mix in some RGB stuff with this version as well while still keeping value in mind. Obviously if you want to trade things off here and there for the looks that's ultimately up to you. There's nothing wrong with your current build at all, but if you're looking for the most performance for your dollar, then I think making changes like this is definitely worth it. -
Thanks so much for the input! Looking through your builds now and refining my plan!!!
