I was looking to get a 6800 on launch day at my local microcenter, Sharonville Ohio, and I am not sure really what the stock will be like, or demand. Is this something that I’m really gonna have to camp outside for, or can I just show up when they open and get one. Or do they have a waiting list? Any info would be appreciated

From the turnout that was present at the RTX 3000 launch, I'd expect this to be something that you will not get one if you show up at the store when it opens in the morning. I'd imagine that there will be several who are camping out. I havent heard anything about stock count or the amount of inventory we are expecting, but again, if it's similar to the RTX launch stock will be limited. I hope it isn't as limited, but as I mentioned, I haven't received any info for stock just yet.

Just hope its way more than the 10+1 3080's that made an appearance, I really felt bad for all those people in line that left empty handed and I was in the top 5.

This morning had 5x 3079s, 5900x, 5600x.. got a 3070 & the 5600x..

How's this store handling the event? Do they have a signup sheet or something? Also, what about restroom breaks?

We have porto potties, power from the store and 10 ppl with a few tents.. oh and wifi

Sad part is there probably won't be 10 6800xt's by the sound of it.

Never told us anything, I just remember the 3080 launch they had 10 +1.. and amd stocks are supposed to be higher.. so maybe a good amount of 6800 and decent amount of 6800xt

Twin cities, MN. Was just me arriving at around 3am. Its 2:15 pm now and 3 others just showed up. They seem like real nice folks. I heard from some speculation that there will be a fair number of 6800 but the 6800xt are going to be much much lower. Like maybe 5 units for the first day.

I really hope they hav enough stock for 6800xts. Im tell my work il be coming in late for that reason xD.
