Considering buying the Intel Core i7-9700K will it work on my system?

Hello I'm considering buying this from micro center
Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 3.6GHz Eight-Core LGA 1151
I have this motherboard 
Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
and the power supply is 550W 
would I need to upgrade anything else? and is it time for a new motherboard in case i needed to get anything 10th generations?

    Hello @Sal123! As long as you have DDR4 memory, all should be compatible with the CPU you listed. If you updated to a 10th gen CPU, you would also have to upgrade your motherboard. As the 10th gen CPUs use a different socket type than the 9th gen.
