Can’t log on

My Dell Inspiron 15 was working just fine Friday when it went to a totally black screen. When I restart it, it goes to the screensaver and when I click anywhere( this would typically bring up the login screen) it goes black for a minute and then puts me right back at the screen saver screen. I’m wondering if it is a Microsoft update issue because it gave me a pop up last week that it was going to upgrade 1 evening. This is the computer my kid uses for his home school in so this is a disaster!!! Help!

Hello @BeckyH Are you able to see any cursor? Are you able to enter any input from the laptop mouse or keyboard?
