Is my motherboard RTX-ready?

My computer has a GIGABYTE Z170X-Gaming 5 motherboard. I'm planning to upgrade to at least an Nvidia RTX 2060, but I'm afraid my motherboard may be too weak to handle the GPU. Is replacing my motherboard necessary or is it ready for RTX GPUs?

Your motherboard is ready, but depending on your CPU, you might see some bottlenecks in performance. Also, an important thing to pay attention to is your PSU. Nvidia recommends at least a 500W PSU.

I believe my PSU is 650W, last time I checked. And I have a i7-6700k, so I think I should be good. Thank you for answering!

@Neptune
An i7-6700k will work fine with a 2060. As for your power supply, 650W will be plenty of power.
