Is the Inland WS8218B LED Strip a Typo?
As the title says is the WS8218B a typo or is the actual LED on the strips? I have been unable to find the datasheet for this specific LED anywhere and I'm wondering if it is a typo and is intended to say WS2812B which is an LED typically found on these strips.
I was looking to purchase an LED strip for a Raspberry Pi DIY project and needed to know the LED type in order to know which python libraries to download such as FastLED Library. Thanks for any help!

Hello,Are you referring to these? https://www.microcenter.com/product/623854/inland-ws8218b-individually-addressable-led-strip-5-meter-60-led-per-meterThis is the digitally-addressable type of LED strip. You can set the color of each LED's red, green, and blue component with 8-bit PWM precision (so 24-bit color per pixel). WS2812B Led strips work great with FastLED library.

Yes those are the ones I was referring to! So the LED's on the strip are actually WS2812B LED's?

I've reached out to our buyer about this item! But based on the information I have currently that is correct! It has WS2812B LED's.
I'll confirm once I've heard back from out buyer.
