Good budget GPU

I in the process of buying parts for a budget computer build.   I had decided on a 1660 super but these cards have either gone way up in price or they are unavailable.   Any thought on a good 2nd choice.  I have been looking at a 1660 TI or a 5600xt.  Both look decent.  Plans are to save for a better card sometime next year.  Just want to get some in.  My son only needs 1080 for his games.

I think you've got the right idea for now. Waiting for a deal or waiting for better inventory. Both cards are great for their price. It's a great spot for 1080p.

Since your plan is to save for a better card later, might I suggest a 5500 XT? It's capable of 1080 gaming, although maybe not at ultra settings but shouldn't have a problem with most games at medium to high settings. It's a huge savings since it's common find them under $200.
