Is the Holiday Return Period policy being honored at every MC stores?

Recently I bought a CPU, GPU, Motherboard from MC in Tustin. As I checked out the cashier told me the return date for the CPU and Motherboard is 15 days, 30 days for the GPU. Later I found out about the Holiday Return Period policy. Did my cashier not know about the new policy? Or the policy is not being honored? Also on the FAQ page (https://community.microcenter.com/kb/articles/28-what-is-the-return-policy) of MC, despite mentioning the Holiday Return Period policy, it also has the normal return calendar info's right below it, so I'm not sure which one to follow. Can a mod clarify this please?

I apologize for any confusion. For all of the components that you purchased between 11/02/20 - 12/24/20 will be eligible for return until 1/15/21. Our normal return policy is listed below the holiday return policy. I just made an edit to that page to try and specify the difference so thank you for letting us know.

Does the holiday return policy also apply to the purchase of a desktop computer ?

Yes, the holiday return period applies to Desktop computers too. The only exception is the Microsoft Surface products.
