Need help with build!

My budget for a gaming pc is $1400 with tax. Any recommended parts? What CPU would be better, Ryzen or Intel? 
This is the build I have but help me improve. I'm open to Ryzen and Intel CPUs.

This is an example of what an intel build could like in your budget. Also, this one would be a better overall rig. However, if you changed your CPU to a Ryzen 5 3600x and the GPU to the 2060 in my attached list it would a very close competitor, and the difference would be difficult to see. The intel chip has 8 cores/threads, the Ryzen chip has 6 cores, and 12 threads. So again, difference would be difficult to identify.
