My daughter wants to build her first computer. Can she come into the Chicago store and get help?
Hello @Jennyls and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. Yes she can come to the store and we can help pick out parts and answer any questions your daughter has about building a pc. If she already has the pc built and is having trouble with it booting or posting, we can certainly help in the store, but for our techs to look at the pc build, there is a $39.99 fee for them to take a look at the pc.
Selecting parts and Q&A is free.
I wanted to ask you if possible what is the microcenter more precisely?
Here is more information on Micro Center:
MC used to have "clinic" days that had various themes and I think one was hands on how to build your own. Alas they are stopped during plague but hopefully will resume.
Yes, we certainly hope that we can start these clinics again soon! You can always check here as we will update this once we have any information on when it will resume: https://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/instore-clinics.aspx
