Bios Update

I'm looking to purchase a motherboard from a local shop, and on the product page it says:

AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Processors are compatible with AMD X570 and B550 based motherboards, which may require a BIOS update for optimal performance. Please check with your local Micro Center service department about ensuring the board is 5000 Series Ready when making your purchase

If I were to ask them to check/do a BIOS update there in the store, would there be a cost, and if so, how much should I expect it to be? I am going to be using a 5600x.
