Will my PC accept and use a PCIe x4 2TB SSD?

I'm in the middle of intense video rendering and need to know if my PC will handle an addtional 2TB Pcie SSD

If there a type of Pcie SSD I must avoid? Or will any of them work?

PC, WIndows 10
Gigabyte z77X-UDH5 motherboard
Intel Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3901 Mhz 4 Cores
Radeon RX 5500XT graphics board
32 GB RAM
One HDD and One SSD already installed onboard. Four external USB drives
ONE open slot as follows:
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
* The PCIEX4 slot is available only when an Intel 22nm (Ivy Bridge) CPU is installed.
* The PCIEX4 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX8 and PCIEX16 slots. When the PCIEX4 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot will operate at up to x8 mode and the PCIEX8 will operate at up to x4 mode.
