Connecting a fan to the motherboard
I recently purchased a LIANLI LANCOOL II MESH case and an ASUS TUF GAMING X570 PLUS WIFI motherboard. I am having difficulty attaching the fans in the case to the mother board. This is our first computer build and it looks like a need an additional wire to connect the three fans together and then to the mother board. What is that cord called and is that the solution? The three wires from the three case fans do not reach the port on the mother board. Sorry if my lingo is not correct. I appreciate all the help.

Hello @CP1Wolf thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. You can connect the case fans to your motherboard to the CHA_Fan1, CHA_FAN2, and CHA_FAN3 4 pin connection on the board. Every connection on the board has a small labeling. You may have to use a flash light to see the labels depending on your lighting. Below is a ASUS TUF motherboard manual. In the manual on page 1-2 its shows a diagram of your board and you'll see where the CHA_Fan connections are at. You can plug a 3 pin or 4 pin case fan connection to the CHA_Fans. I've also included a youtube video on Fan connections. Take a look at it.
Let us know if this helps.
