B450 Aorus elite and ryzen 5 3600 Matisse

Options
I have a b450 Aorus elite and can’t return it cause I only had 15 days and I’m trying to buy a ryzen 3600 Matisse but on pc part picker it comes up with this message “Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions” what can I do to the motherboard maybe get a bios update if they do that at the micro center

Greetings. From the Gigabyte CPU support list, this motherboard has supported this for awhile (the BIOS version was released in July 2019), this really shouldn't be an issue anymore. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-ELITE-rev-1x/support#support-cpu

If needed, it can be updated at any Micro Center store.

So can I just build it then update the bios?

I built it with the ryzen 5 3600 and it turns on but the red little light comes under the cpu does that mean I have to update the bios with a diffrent cpu?

It is possible. If you'd like it to be checked out and confirmed, this is something they can look at with you at a Micro Center store.
