Is this case worth it?

I dont know too much as far as cases go, its one of the few things left i need to get other than the cpu and the power supply, most cases are around 80-200$ but is the "Corsair Obsidian 1000D RGB Tempered Glass eATX Super-Tower Case" which is about 500$ worth the cost of what it's asking and why?

Greetings. The D1000 is intended to be able to house 2 computers in 1 case, along with custom water cooling, if you aren't doing that (2 PCs), I really can't recommend this case, it would be major overkill for a single build.

So what about the d500? Would that be for just one? And I do have a custom water cooling kit

This is WAY OVERKILL. Unless you are a serious streamer with a two PC setup which you are trying to build, I would say go with a different one. And/or, if you have some heat generating components that need a 360/480/2x240 radiator(s), then this is out of the question. If you want a expensive case, then asus' ROG STRIX HELIOS is a good high end option for overkill, but the usefulness is at Earth.

If you're looking for a nice Corsair case that can support water cooling without issue, I'd suggest looking at https://www.microcenter.com/product/609734/corsair-icue-465x-rgb-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-computer-case---black

Hey there!

I think the 1000D is 100% worth the price point. For a PC case to house two machines is one of a kind. You have the capability of having your gaming and streaming machine all in one unit! So cool.

I have a Corsair 7000D. If you want a big case with killer air flow, it's awesome.
