Well I am new to building a PC. I do have a current PC which is an HP pavilion which is a dinosaur and I’m toying with the idea of using parts from that. The parts that I would use would be the storage which has a 1 TB hard drive the memory but I don’t know the manufacture but it is 2x8 gb sticks and the Optical drive. I would not use the motherboard or CPU, The motherboard is a pegatron 2acf and the CPU is AMD quad core processor. what I plan on using this computer for is a little bit of gaming but more so of video editing and video making. I have pick some which are listed below. I’m trying to make this PC around $800 to $1000. Any tips or upgrades I could do. I was toying with the Of using my current Case was an HP pavilion ATX case but I did want to use that case for making a media server.
