Swapping Dying Motherboard from pre-built PowerSpec

I have a powerspec pre-built that was bought about 7 months ago. Recently the USB ports are failing and causing PC issues. I really prefer to do the cabling myself, and I have the full protection plan on the build. Would I be able to just bring in the motherboard and get credit for the value of it to buy a new/different mobo?

Hello @Leah. While I do not doubt your technical prowess to repair the computer yourself; To protect the value of your computer as well as the protection plan & warranty, service will have to accomplish the repair to ensure your warranty and protection plan stay valid.
