Amd 5950x for content creators/gamers?

Hey guys.
I've been waiting to get my hands on the amd 5950x for content creation and video games. Would this be overkill for premiere pro/after effects/cinema 4d? Whats a good motherboard/ram to pair it with? 
Please keep in mind that I will pair it with the nvidia rtx 3090 whenever I can get my hands on it.

Yes, the 5950X would be a strong performer for content creation and gaming! The 5900X would also be a strong performer, however, it does lack the 4 additional cores that the 5950X has.

I'd recommend a reliable X570 motherboard and DDR4 at 3600mhz.
