ASUS ROG Strix G15 G512LW

Hello.   I'm looking at purchasing the ASUS ROG Strix G15 G512LW (part #099655) for $1599.00 and the deal seems too good to be true.   Everything else from other MSI, Lenovo, Predator, Alienware, etc. with these specs is upwards or $2,000 or more.   I play mostly first person shooter game.  What am I missing?  Is there anything else in this price range that is better spec'd?

That's really impressive to be a 2070. It looks like it a desktop chip too, not a Max-Q.  Looks like you've found a great deal!

Thanks.   I did see that the sRGB was less than 50%.   Would I notice that much in game?   Also, am I correct in assuming that this won't be a factor when I use an external gaming monitor?

I agree regarding the desktop chip as well.   I'm just trying to find the reason why it's priced so reasonably lol.

You're correct. I wouldn't recommend using the screen for photo editing or color correction, but you probably won't notice that color accuracy while gaming. You're correct to assume that it won't matter if you plug an external monitor into the computer.

Looks like a great deal. I'm tempted to buy myself a late Christmas present.
