Switching from one case to another

My friend purchased an ASUS ROG G20CB (i7 6700, 980 gfx, 250 ssd, 1tb hdd) a few years ago. He wants to upgrade to a new case. 

What would need to be upgraded for future upgrades to occur and move it to a new case? (RAM, motherboard, power supply?)

Hello @mistahsea. You can upgrade to any ATX mid or full tower case. What is the motherboard in the system that is currently installed?

I believe this is the motherboard: Motherboard H170-P/G20CB/DP_MB Rev 1.06

I think it is a custom motherboard for the mini case the build is. I appreciate it, I didn't realize I posted this twice.

So the concern i would have with this since it is a specialized asus system, is that the motherboard may be made specifically for this case and not use a standard ATX or mATX size so it may not fit into other cases.  Below is the link for the computer from asus.  you may need to speak with them on this to get more information on the motherboard..
