Ive been going back and forth between building and buying prebuilts.
i found a prebuilt from NZXT that seemed pretty good, which was https://www.letsbld.com/starter-series, specifically the starter plus. this is kind of my top pick as of now bc its on the cheaper end and it the specs fit everything i need it for
i have an oculus quest 2, so i would need it to be compatible with the oculus link,
i plan on playing cold war on it, cyberpunk, compatible with the oculus link as well and other simple games such as minecraft
if anyone could let me know if the NZXT one is a good option or maybe even help me pick pieces to build that would be great ----- my price range is about 500-900(could do around 1000$ as well but would like to stay on the lower end.

Hello @sessyI'd recommend this if you have any available in your local store. Here's a similar build to the one you referenced with a few upgrades. Here's one that would be nearly the same parts as the build you mentioned.Building your own PC is great! I think it's worth the experience and worth doing. At this budget, if you buy prebuilt, you'll typically get more performance from your build, because the builder takes on the cost of the OS. It does change a bit because of this and some deals, so it's always worth comparing prices and deciding based on how you feel about the experience and having something that you've built!I'd be happy to talk more about this with you if you have more questions!

While the ASUS 1650 is not listed as supported it should work with many titles. However, it is at the bottom of the table for performance. Upgrading would take you over your budget, but allow you to get better performance and be certain of support. If you're upgrading your GPU, I'd recommend the EVGA 1660 Super or something similar in price. It's worth the additional cost with the performance gained.I hope this helps!
