DVD Coasters

If a DVD or CD was not finalized. Is there any software or hardware, that will play it on a different drive ?  Or are they just drink coasters ?  Thanks.

From my understanding, If you're not able to finalize the DVD or CD with a finalizing software like Nero or similar you'd have to finalize the disk with a DVD or CD recorder.

Unfortunately, if you aren't able to finalize the disks, they would not be readable on a DVD or CD player.

Thank you for posting on the Micro Center Community!  I have transferred this thread over to our Technical Support section as that is a better fit for this topic.

In regards to your question, you should be able to write onto the DVD/CD with a computer and finalize it with some sort of computer program.  You can find a few online but none I would recommend as I have never used any of them.

I should have mentioned they were recorded on DVD or CD stand alone decks, RCA, PANISONIC  MAGNIVOX.

It's not free, but ISOBuster is basically meant for this. That would be your best option.
