Need help with selecting new motherboard and cpu cooler

You can access this link to see my current build of a pc: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yBmKxc
My current motherboard and CPU cooler are missing because both current ones are incompatible with the new processor I recently bought. That new processor is listed in the build link (INTEL i5-10600K LGA 1200). Since my case is Micro ATX, I wasn't able to find a new motherboard that could fit it and the processor in the story.

What would be a great, but affordable motherboard and CPU Cooler you would recommend that would match my current case and my new processor?

Greetings. We can look into this for you, so we can make the best recommendations, which Micro Center store are you nearest to?

Sadly, they are very limited on LGA 1200 mATX boards at this time. This is the only one I see they have in stock at the time of responding: https://www.microcenter.com/product/623747/asrock-z490m-pro4-intel-lga-1200-microatx-motherboard

For the cooler, you can use something like https://www.microcenter.com/product/373900/cooler-master-hyper-212-evo-universal-cpu-cooler It will have no issue keeping the i5 cool and is compatible with it as well.
  • These look great! I have just a quick follow-up question:
When I added these two pieces to my "build" on pc-part picker, it mentioned these possibilities-
    •  Note: The ASRock Z490M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the EVGA G3 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.
    •  Note: Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.
I don't plan on overclocking my pc. I just don't have the need for it. So would the motherboard still be compatible with my video card?
Also, the physical dimension restriction note worries me. Is this just a normal note to get on a build that won't end up resulting in major incompatibility. I just want to make sure I don't run into a situation where I order these parts and show up to the store for help installing them and then end up finding out that they won't work.

Yes, the motherboard would work fine with your GPU. And so far as form factor, it's an micro ATX board. You won't have any issues with the Phantek's case.
