Do I have to to pick up right away?

I've been gathering parts to have a new pc made, and in the next week or 2 will have them all, however I probably will have to get the cpu via a scalper since I'm unsure when more 5950x amd ryzen cpus will be available, I then plan to bring all my parts to the store near me to pay to have it made since I don't trust myself with water cooling. If I buy parts from the store that require instore pickup, do they have to be picked up within a certain time frame?
