I want to buy an iPhone, my first one. The product descriptions say either 'remanufactured' or 'refurbished'. Does this mean those particular phones have been used and returned? Thanks.

Hello! "Refurbished" usually means that the manufacturer or a refurbishing company received these units and after checking them over, they are now available for re-sale. Due to the broad nature of refurbished products, the only info we have on the item is what is listed in the specs. We are not informed by the refurbishing companies what if any repairs were done on individual refurbished units.
