Need Help Choosing Parts

I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. It's for my son's first gaming computer. I don't need all the bells and whistles as I'm not sure if he'll move forward with it, but just looking to see if this will run some basic games like fortnite, minecraft, etc. Thank you in advance.

    Greetings @WarElder

Your build looks good overall. The Ballistix RAM looks like it's Micron E-Die which is pretty solid. I would consider replacing the SSD. You can get an NVME drive for that price. We'll have our Inland drives in the same price range for a TLC NVME drive. Samsung drives are top notch in my opinion, but you're comparing a drive that'll max at 550MB/s, versus an NVME drive that's specifications are 3100MB/s read, 2800MB/s write.
