Issue with Powersec G508

I recently purchased the Powersec G508 gaming computer about month ago. Didn't have any issues with it when I booted it when I got and so on. Well, until a week or so back I started to notice it would fail to post when turning the pc on. Fans and lighting all seem to come on but I go no display. Even switched monitor still no luck. Thought maybe it could have been my Dp cord so switch to a new hdmi, still no luck. Funny thing is that when turing the system on and off again it would magically post. As of this week it hasn't posted even with me cycling on and off the power. I'm fairly new to this pc thing this is my very first one. So any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello @Kurotsuchi Sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your PowerSpec.

Is your system able to post at this time? If so, have you ensured that your system has all its drivers up to date?

Could you check the Event Viewer to see if there are any Critical events or other serious Errors?

Thank you @LandShark for getting back to me. Currently at this time pc will not post. So, unfortunately if there is a driver update that is needed I could not get to it.

Oh, @LandShark there is one thing that I forgot I had also started noticing when the system did post. The light next to the power button would flicker orange. Then once the system had ran for a few mins it would stop.

Hmm, since it's not able to post, I'd have to recommend that you bring it to our service department. Our service associates would be able to run tests and diagnose the issue. Sounds like a failure to resume from S4. Which applies to the system being shutdown or in hibernate. This should not happen, and this is certainly something we test. The flickering you're seeing is drive activity, so it tries to access the drive and then hangs. Try this to confirm:

Right click "Start" and go to "Windows Powershell(Admin)". Type: powercfg -f off

Press "Enter", you will not get a confirmation that it succeeded. It'll give you another prompt, it will give you an error if the command fails. Reboot the PC. Then we'll use the PC normally and see if the issue persists.
