Need a laptop recommendation to match these specs

Hi, I need an affordable laptop ($375-$425 range) that has the following minimum requirements. What can you recommend?

- Windows 10

- Intel Core i5 or i7 Processor (Recommend 3.0 GHz or higher)

- 4 GB RAM minimum (Recommend 8 GB)

- 1 GB RAM (Recommend 2GB RAM or Greater)

- Minimum 10 GB disk space

Hello @TLA and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. Are you looking for a 13" or 15" or 17" size screen for the laptop? What MC store are you near? Is there certain or specific software that you plan to use the laptop for and if so, what software is it?

Thanks for your reply. I am closest to the Vienna VA Microcenter.

A 13" would be fine. I'm accustomed to using a Surface 3 (which I love) that I bought from Microcenter in 2015. Smaller and lighter is better for me for portability because I work from multiple locations.

Windows 10 is mainly what I need. Everything else will be web-based. I'll be doing Zoom meetings and phone consultations using a USB headset. I need a minimum of 10 mbps upload and 10 mbps download. My home internet test showed the connection easily accommodates that.

Although I use a mouse the vast majority of the time, I really like the touch screen when the mouse fails. I also like the back-lit keyboard.

Unfortunately, I don't think we have any that fully match your specifications and stay within your budget.

For the specifications you mentioned, I'd recommend this Acer Swift, however, as said it does exceed your budget.

If you'd like to add a touch screen then I'd recommend this Samsung Galaxy Flex. The touch screen does add more to the cost of the laptop.
