replacement motherboard

I need to locate a working motherboard, or for someone that can build a replacement motherboard, for an HP Pavilion a636n - tower - P4 2.8 GHz . Apparently everything else is still okay, a large capacitor on the board failed and took out the RAM chips. I have vital data on the hard drive that I need to retrieve. Have been looking for a working duplicate tower to get the motherboard from but no luck.

try a ide to usb adapter sku 919977, this will let you hook up your ide hard drive to another computer and use it like a usb thumb drive. the files should all be there long as the drive its self not damaged.

SKU: 032896 also does the same thing using a usb 3.0
