Hello. I have a laptop HDD that is quickly failing me. The machine is a 2017 (I think) HP Omen 15-dc0051nr. I'll need a replacement immediately. Can some please put together a list of HDD units that will be acceptable replacements, comparable performance or better, under $100, that are ready to ship? The original product number is HGST HTS721010A9E630. Please see what you can do. Thank you for your assistance.

I think my best recommendation would be looking at a 2.5in Solid State Drive rather than the HDD you were looking for; https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294945779+38+4294820270+667&myStore=false. We only have one that can be shipped out, the Crucial BX500. These are all the SSDs that are 1TB, you can find some of the better performance ones at 500GBs if you are fine with lowering the amount of storage.

Keep in mind, all of these are a bit slower than your current one, but some of them are 2TB and can store more.
@TSPhillipT Thank you, I do think I will switch to SSD. Do you know if the cable connection will be the same?
the sata connection on your current drive will be the same on the solid state
@LochPikkur just chiming in. @ninja502 is correct. The SSDs that @TSPhillipT shared are all SATA connected SSD's. So your current sata cables will work this those SSD's.
