will a USB TP-LINK 300i3ps work in place of TP-LINK CE1588

Hello @yldone2 and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. The USB TP link 300ps is a usb wifi adapter. It allows a desktop pc or a laptop pc to connect to the wifi via USB. The TP-Link CE1588 looks to be a wifi Router. A wifi router is different from a usb wifi adapter as the router is designed to route wifi internet connections to computers or devices. So the usb wifi adapter would connect to the TP Link CE1588 to have wifi internet connection for the device the USB adapter is connected to. The CD15888 can not work in place of usb TP Link adapter, but they can work together.
