Unable to open my windows. I get the massage: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart"

Then the screen indicates: "Preparing Automatic Repair", then :Diagnosing Your PC" But nothing is corrected. The Automatic Repair cannot correct the situation. There is a stop Code indicated: Bad System Config Info"

    What have you tried, other than the auto repair, to fix this issue?

    Bad System Config Info is a common bug check error on Windows systems, caused mainly by a malfunctioning of the system and registry files or the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file.

    Are you able to reach the Windows desktop? Or are you stuck in the screen above?
