More and more keyboards are raising their keys, giving them a gap between the base and keys, so they end up looking something like this:
But of course, the old standby is there for a reason:
Keys tucked away nicely, looking sleek and inset.

As soon as the raised keys trend started, I knew I found a keyboard I loved. The raised keys feel sleek, are neat to look at, and, most importantly when you have two dogs that love to shed, easy to clean.

I agree with SeanM on this as they are significantly much easier to clean and have 3 dogs in my household.
Also all the Corsair Keyboards are raised now haha, it's just the normal for me.

Raised is better. I think it just makes the keyboard look better in general.
Besides, I can't even use a normal keyboard now 😅

Much like the others, I find myself enjoying the raised keyboard I have at home compared to the inset I have here at work. I feel the raised look allows some of the RGB to shine better as well. The under glow has mysterious effects that just make it more and more enjoyable to watch.
