We all know that feeling:
And it is sweet.
But when do you peel that plastic? As soon as you pull it out of the box, or do you delay that satisfaction and wait until your PC is 100% complete for some prime peeling?
I have no understanding of delayed gratification.
Quickly, very quickly into the process
Somewhere in-between Finishing my build and as soon As it's out of the box.
I always thought the plastic was meant to keep it fingerprint free and clean. So as soon as I can take it off while knowing that I won't be handling it again.
At the end of the build knowing that it has protected the build from fingerprints mostly.
However, I have 0 feelings when it comes to peeling it off. Maybe I am cold hearted but it's just peeling plastic?
I anticipate doing it when I first see it, but then I get sidetracked by finishing the build itself. Usually months later I notice it's still there and peel off.
For customers, If I leave it all on, they think I didn't finish the job, but I do intentionally leave a piece on the edge of the monitor, or one part of the case, so they get that "oh he must've forgot this one" and as they peel it off they still get that "new computer" feeling.
