I removed the screws but neither will budge and I dont want to force them obviously, send halp. The reason I'm doing this is because I'm trying to put on my waterblock

The one I watched showed it just easily being removed, some told me it may be sautered in which case I'm unsure what to do

Hello @Geo
It's possible that there may be screws on the other side of the GPU holding the backplate onto the card. Otherwise, use extreme caution and gently pull the backplate aware from the cart around the edges. It should not require heavy force to remove the backplate.

The issue was the thermal padding I just had to apply a little more force, I did run into some problems fitting the radiator and gpu into the pc after putting it on but its solved if i mount the gpu vertically, that unfortunately means I need a wire to connect it to the motherboard now aswell as the elgato i planned on getting since the motherboard is no longer easily accessible

Glad you were able to figure it out.
Does that mean we'll soon be seeing a build on our showcase?

As long as I dont mess it up horribly
