If you own this powerspec 467, you may have received the 10900K instead of the KF variant. This is a benefit as this carries integrated graphics. This will be news to some of you. If you have the KF version, you got what you paid for.
This has been brought to the attention of your Westmont Il manager months ago so it's known to her. I'm just letting others know this. In my case I purchased an extended warranty and was curious about the advertised CPU (as listed on box, website and receipt) differing and potentially causing problems later, if I should ever have it serviced.
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know. We have had different variations of this build some have the KF and some have the K in them. We do keep records of which ones have the k and the kf, so your warranty would not be effected by this.
good to know -- thanks!
You're welcome, please let us know if you have any other questions.
well, I might have one. Regarding this:
If I upgrade, and I know that's a strong "if" if pre-launch benchmarks are to be believed but is this something you guys are anticipating the need for BIOS revisions?
At this time, we do not have information on any possible BIOS updates.
