It's 2021. You can buy everything digitally, but some of us still like to have a CD drive in their PC, just in case. Do you?
I still have enough physical media that it even gets use on occasion!
Nope, I don't even realize I don't have one at most times.
I don't have a drive in my PC, they looks ugly and take up a lot of space. Also pretty pricy compared to the external CD/DVD Drives which I just use since I have a lot of Physical Media too. It's cheaper to bring out the external drive when you use Physical Media and put it away when done.
i might get one to buy some older CD/DVD games but they are old, take up a lot of space, and ugly
Yes, internal for me because there is less clutter with the built-in drive and it's always ready to go. I like the M-Disc for its 1000 year disc life, although I don't know how I will file a warranty claim at 800 years if there is an issue with a disc.
M-Disc drives are more expensive, but at less than $30 for a regular internal drive, cost is not an issue.
Nope, the only thing that has a physical drive are my consoles! My PC is digital only~
I have been rocking a LG BlueRay Burner since 2010. It's been in 3 different PCs!
Yes! I shoot film and when a company sends you the digitized film, it comes on a disk! There are barely any cases that support it anymore!
